Taillight Seal

Hi All
I am wondering how you sealed the taillight to body what have you used I have been given a tube of the same stuff that the windscreens are sealed with as it wont go hard but forms a skin, any ideas are welcome at this stage as when it's done it will be to late.

Billy I think most use butyl mastic as I did.

The tube of stuff I was given is mastic product No 5614.
