Is there anywhere that sells radiators for the Ek without spending heaps of money for something that's not that fantastic anyway. Tia cheers

Why not got your standard one recored ? If you are running a grey it will do the job unless you are towing a caravan or something ???
I started with nothing and still have most of it left.

Yeah that's the other way I was thinking any good radiator place should be able to sort that out shouldn't they.

A competent radiator shop should be able to manage that easily enough. Steer clear of the cheap ally ones. They're lucky to last a year.

I'm down in bunbury what should I be asking for? I'd rather go for something a bit overkill just incase of a eng upgrade latter down the track.

Go for the maximum the stock tanks will acomodate. Three row gone core at a guess. This will cool a 202 as long as not over bored. Clearance to fan may be an issue particularly with red motor. I have used a HG three core with the opening widened slightly.

I run the same as Errol. Three core hug radiator. 40+ deg days not an issue for a tired old 161.

Errol
Holden hg fine 3 row radiator is what your saying as a upgrade. When you say the opening has to be slightly widened do you mean just a bit of a massage or the radiator shop has to cut and brass a larger outlet. What's the difference in size Ek-hg?

I was talking about enlarging the opening where the radiator sits in the support panel. The HG radiators are wider than FB EK so need to widen the opening to enable air flow to take advantage of this.

If you don't want to cut the sheet metal go for fine three core fitted to FB EK tanks. This will cool a stock 186 in my opinion.

I've seen a 3 core stock radiator cool a 253 on 40 degree day.
I use the same a Devil Rod, HR radiator 3 core, cheap insurance.
