I've had it for about a year now. Some of you may know of it. I purchased from an older guy down the south coast NSW. So can't take credit for the body work.

I've lowered it, white wall painted the tyres. (although I run black rims with flappers most of the time.) I was close to dumping the front end for disc brakes, but I've decided to go with grey motor with extras.

Head is shaved 15 thou and running lumpy cam. I plan to put some inch and a quarter su's on her plus get the head re-done. (have the manifold, just need to find the carbies) Plus all the chrome trimmings

I want to go half way nostalgic rodder, but want to be able to go back to old timer classic by just changing the wheels. Best of both worlds.

It seems that the hot rod guys are pretty accepting of FB/EK holdens.

I have a busted fuel sender unit, tank is out at the moment I've had a problem with fuel. Trying to chase this one up.

Cheers

Very nice! Most rodders are accepting but unfortunatly the major body looking after their best interests isn't!!! No chassis no play, but thats something else I'm not going into on here....

Looks similar in Colour to Mark Aitkens (must be a Canberra thing!), have you seen his pale blue ute around, runs a louvred bonnet and tailgate?

How bout some more pics of this fine ride of yours.

Thanks for the great comments. I'll take some more pics soon and post them up.

Devilrod, sure do see Mark getting around. I first went to him for advice when I was trying to work out which way to go with mods. He tried to convince me to swap the old grey for a 186 and hot it up. Good bloke with a sweet ute.

You also might have seen FBOOT getting around. This is running a small block chev (also blue, but darker - kind-a-like SLY186). Very cool. I can't bring myself to change the old grey motor over.

I bought my Hotrod off Mark, he picked me and the missus up at the airport in the ute. Its a real nice ride. Wise choice in seeing him for advice, I only catch up with him in Bright once a year. Great bloke.

I've had both reds and greys. You can't loose either way.
