steering connecting rod not parallel ?

Post by Lex68 »

OK, the good book says the connecting needs to be parallel to the ground between the pitman arm and the idler arm, apparently the play in the sub frame when attaching the idler arm bolts allow for this parallel adjustment! I'm about 1/2 " high on the idler end. The pitman arm is on as far as it will go and the tie rod ends are disconnected.

Any advice?

Cheers
