ok im at a loss i just went to castlemaine rods shops site thinking i'd be able to get the doubler plate for the front end from them (swear i'd seen them there) but the sites new so i cant find them or even a proper name so i can search for them Ive borrowed a picture so people know what im on about in need of help on this to locate some

..... Or make some cardboard templates and take them to your nearest laser cutter bloke and have them cut.
I started with nothing and still have most of it left.

Just went to buy these from there website has anyone ever bought off there website, i can create a account and it goes straight to a link for check out with PayPal before postage and a address have even been added so that don't feel right never had that before (checking out with out a address and freight added on before hand) and awaiting a reply on there eBay listing......

Well all good got them of Waddingtons arrived today found it easier to use the eBay link that was supplied same price either way and communication was easier

Sorry to hijack, better to full weld or stitch it in? What's best for stopping the water getting between the sheets?

I think they are normally stitched in , you could just run seam sealer or drip chek around them to seal them up ?

I was going to fully weld and coat inner's with copper spray which is good for stopping corrosion i find it better than zinc spray as the copper is conductive and helps with a smoother weld and less splatter
