Park lights

Post by John »

When I pull my lights onto park the rh rear indicator stays on and the indicator lights on the dash stay on (solid light)
When I pull the light switch all the way out the lights are fine??
Also no horn at all. New button but no go. Horn works fine direct to battery.
Any ideas ?

Cheers
John

Still got me stumped. Had a fiddle last night but nothing obvious. Might need to pull the wheel off and check the wiring through the column.

Anyone got any other ideas?

I think Devilrod is onto it - sounds like a crook earth , does the horn work if you short from the brass ring to the steering column shaft ?
I started with nothing and still have most of it left.

All sorted. Thanks guys.
Bad earth for the lights and the horn issue was the new rare spares button was a bit tight in the hole in the wheel, quick file out and the horn button goes all the way in to touch the brass ring.
All working fine :)
