Oh yeah, it was thirteen years ago since we last went 
and geez it was great going back catching up with old mates and meeting a few new people.Met Shane who was into FJ's, he's got a red powered sedan at home but went to the Canberra run in his ute. What a blast from the past, warm grey, plenty of extra chrome from way back when - you know all the real important stuff people used to chrome like spring hangers, stabiliser brackets, bonnet hinges,radiator support panel etc etc. lots of neat extra's as well like door handle scratch plates, factory amp gauge in the warning lights, parcel shelf under dash etc.
Must have been a real looker in its day,louvered bonnet and all, best thing I liked/wanted was the set of Tasman mags, Shanes got three original centres and is looking for a fourth to make up a set. (Currently got Torana one's on to fill the hole) He wants an original one not a repo if anyone's got a spare.
