PBR Bits

Post by reddo »

Hi
I went into my local auto parts joint the other day chasing a kit for a 3 speed gearbox ( EH) clutch slave cylinder.
He tells me that PBR have discontinued these kits but i can buy a complete new cylinder for around $100 :ughh:

I asked if they ( PBR) can make complete cylinders with rubbers inside of them ... why the hell cant they supply just the boot and internal rubber cup??
Anyone else struck this sort of crap?? what about master kits and brake wheel cylinders etc.. are we gunna be struggling to get these in the future...
Or.. do i have a slack parts supplier??

Regards

Reddo,
I have just had my brake master cylinder sleeved in stainless steel by Power Brakes, Holden Hill here in SA. I see on their web site they have replacement kits for your EH clutch master cylinder ($7.80 incl gst) and they do postal orders no probs. Link below
