Re: FO RD A Model 1931
I called in at a mate that i havent seen for a while.
He bought this from the states a couple of years ago. My kids were crawling all over it so he gave me the keys and said take them for a run.
The two little ones and my wife got into the rumble seat (very illegal) and off we went up the mountains.
After a few ks the one and a half year old got fed up in the back so i pulled over and she climbed into the front with me.
She had a ball playing with the gears and waving back at her sister.
The car is fully loaded. It even has overdrive which takes a bit of getting used to.
The old girl sat comfortably at 50mph on the road.
We got plenty of smiles and waves.
I actually had the first drive of this car when it landed here. I did some work on it at night at his house. After the work was done i talked him into going for a run. The owner was pretty drunk so i got the honours.
Keep an eye out for this car on the upcoming great gatsby movie.

Makes buying a bare repro steel body look like pretty ordinary value
