Can anyone tell me The difference between an EK auto column and an EJ column?

quite a few EJ is shorter has a different end where steering wheel goes on (same spline) different blinker mechanism and wiring slightly different where steering box bolts to subframe rails it will go in but not bolt out bolt in swap bit of fiddling required

If I swap the pot at the top will the ek (FC) wheel fit?

not sure that you can swap the top, i would nearly say they are not interchangable but i've never tried and don't know anybody that has, i once made an EK wheel fit a H/KTG collum

My EK sedan had an EH column in it when I got it.
The EK wheel scrapped on the EH honey pot, I was told to stop the scraping or replace the steering column to get rego.
