New HR front. Outrigger gap at subframe

Post by TEDSEK »

I Recently purchased the Rare Spares HR crossmember exchange with the EK outrigger fitted.
I also bought the R.S. set of new bushes to bolt it in.
The 4 main bolts and bushes fitted up pretty easy. I have about a 7 -8mm gap between Xmember and sub-frame, but the front outrigger with the square bush and saddle bracket is about 15-20mm from the underside of the sub-frame under the radiator.?

Have I done something wrong here. Any help appreciated.

Yeah. Sorry said bushes but did buy the rare spares rubber kit.
Should I just bolt the 4 main bolts lightly then fit the
Outrigger firm then just crank the 4 bolts tight ? Worried it will
Only Distorts the rubber. It's like the outrigger angle
Is welded on low ?
