Are there any 2 speed wiper switches with the washer hole thing that can be used in replacement of the standard switch? Could an EH switch or something be bolted in? (with the FB/EK knob still being used)?
Also any ideas on a good way to make a windscreen washer system? I dont have the wiper pivot surrounds with the hole and tube through it and i dont want to drill a hole in my bonnet for a frog squirter.
I'll probably use of them universal kits from supercrap, just trying to find a way to make it as least noticable as possible without a huge amount of work.
I have a standard switch on mine with a 2 speed conversion done, so it can be done .
I had a set of washer tubes that were designed to poke through the plenum, not sure what they were out of, just something that was in my crap stash (sorry sold them, otherwise I would have sent them to you), Trev.

From what I have seen of the EJ / EH switches they are completely electric. I wouldnt be surprised if you could swap the knobs and have a completely electric washer wiper switch with the EK knob
I've just bought an EK electric / vacuum switch off ebay, but just need the vacuum bit off the back. You're welcome to have the hollow EK knob with the washer button when my ebay switch arrives and see if it will fit an EH switch
Also, check US ebay. They often have a lot of Trico NOS washer kits that are the same as was fitted to EKs with the big-ass glass jar, hoses & washer nozzles etc., but with a universal vacuum button that fits under the dash. I have one of these complete NOS (not repro) Trico kits at home that I'll be connecting up to work with my ebay switch

Thanks for the tip. Kinda half and half re the installation. The previous owner hadn't finished installing the full system. There is a vacuum nipple on the carby spacer already and the bottle is there but I'm assuming the diaphragm is shot. He also had the EK style washer/wiper knob. I'm guessing the original FB switch would have been entirely vacuum
Plastic the FB has already been used and abused (EK electric wiper conversion etc) so I'm not so worried about the exact originality as long as it' is period
Good news about the EK knob fitting though. Hopefully that will help out a fellow Perth forum member (doesn't seem like there's too many of us).

Here is a good option for the squirters if you get stuck. Still have to drill a hole, but these are original Trico design that would have been fitted in the 60s (not GM OEM though).

Well said From what I've seen some of our cars aren't too shabby either I'm hoping Seb will let me take a look at his 14000 mile FB Standard. How would it have felt finding that one

The knob certainly doesn't go with the bottle and isn't FB/EK. It looks like the knob has it's own diaphragm and is a hand-pump for a non-vacuum system. The bottle looks to be correct for FB / EK, but be wary cos the diaphragm is probably broken in it.
