Oh you're very lucky my internet service had been wiped out by a big storm down here until this morning (local tower copped a hammering by hail  good thing I was up in the southern highlands eh?) so I could'nt answer these derogatory claims relating to me of owning a Morris ICEAGE! :wtf: I'm 5 foot nuthin' & still had a hard time fitting in the door!! :problem:
There IS a forum member that does own a black one of these..is'nt there Pete??? :silent:

I had to follow these prime examples of British motoring history back from Bowral to Rusty's home at a huge rate of knots (89 kmh down the freeway ..according to the speed on the sat-nav)..makes a day trip just going down to the shops. The only good thing I can say about the green one is it had the best backoff note I've ever heard.."MMMMOLOMOPMOPMOPMOP"...sounded like those plastic pipe things that the kids used to have in the 70's that you swung around your head and it made an annoying loud noise!

Pete there was a Minor 1000 running about Wagga in the early seventies with a red hot 179 in it, the engineering was questionable    but man did that thing put a lot of the local owners of hot HR's etc to shame

Wonder where it ended up :?

a mate of mine had one with a hot grey in it and it was quite a rocket aswell :ewink:
i nearly bought one with a 327 in it, it was legaly regoed many years ago but the guy pulled it apart to tub it and let the rego run out :( and the RTA said not a chance we're letting that back on the road  had rego plates MM 327
we had a chopped 4 door that smooth customs did the chop on it had a hotty datto 1200 5 speed and tall diff gears it was good for 200kmh  funniest day was driving FAST beside a LHD ferrari so i was basically side by side with the driver he just kept looking at me and the car with this face  then looking back at his speedo we were well over 160kmh admitedly he gave me a thumbs up and then took off like i was standing still
