Post by WayneXG95 »

Wondering if anyone has purchased these from Sparecity

Or motor parts from

http://www.greymotor.com/

I was looking at the engine rebuilt kit.

Cheers

Hi Wayne,

Havn't bought anything from sparecity. How bad are the original switch surrounds? My 'take' on this is I'd rather use original GMH stuff from the original car than repro - even if the originals arn't perfect - if that makes sense.

I guess it depends on what sort of finish you want in the end.

Totally agree with you Stewart. :)
I'm sourcing OEM but sometimes you don't have a choice.

I collected good original ones for years and ended up buying a set of Rare Spares ones , they are really good quality
I started with nothing and still have most of it left.
