Zombie,

Dellow do a conversion for the P51/W40 steel case, but it looks like they don't do the Toyota alloy case boxes for grey :( :

They do a red/blue/black kit though - couldn't hurt to give them a call though and see what they suggest.

The other mob that may be worth calling is Castelmaine Rod Shop:

Their BH049 kit does the alloy boxes, but again only for red/blue/black.

Cheers,
Harv.

I'm swapping a steel case celica 5-speed into my grey motored EK over the next two weeks, using Dellow adaptor components.
Plan on doing a step by step how-to (or how-not-to) post as soon as I'm done...

Will be interesting to watch this post thanks for offering to document the conversion mate  I did a calculation on RPM to MPH on 14" 235/60/14 rear wheels (what I run) and with the Celica .85:1 5th gear at 2500rpm / 56.33mph and at 3000rpm / 67.60mph so it will really shave the revs off at highway speed. Is your grey stock? I run a warm grey and 3.36 diff centre so my grey isn't working as hard at highway speed and improves the fuel economy, I do miss the old 3.89 centre as it was better off the mark but as we have to travel a lot more country miles the swap to 3.36 had to happen.

Thanks again for offering to let us follow the swap :ewink:

Mines a warm grey. Not sure what's been done except for the extractors, but it has more grunt than other stock grey's i've driven.
Not as much as my old FE with semi-race motor... :egeek:

Mine rev's like mad at 60mph, so the 5-speed box should make trips much more fun....!
