FB Marine blue help

Post by kiwifb »

Hey there everyone,
after some help here - just wondering if anyone has some pics / links / or even knows if the FB's came out with Marine blue with Grecian White flash - I have seen it done the reverse way but would love some pics with the blue as the main colour. Any help would be appreciated.

Just bumping this up - even if anyone knows if they were ever, even, painted predominantly Marine blue with the Grecian white flash. - Our car had one door this colour - but no tags, and although the colour is on the FB paint list I just want to confirm before we make an expensive mistake.

All help appreciated.

I'm quite positive this is Marine Blue, though it's on an EK

Punch the word "marine" into the search thingy on the top right hand corner of this screen, and it'll bring up all threads with the word "marine" in it

I didn't go too far back to find that photo. You may even find an FB in that colour if you search all the way back

Hi, here is a pic of an FB in the UK. The color looks similiar to Marine blue but looks a metallic respray. At least it gives you an idea.
I've only seen marine blue flash on white, not the other way around.
i have a marine blue EK too. It was a common color

Cheers

Hey there Paul,
Thanks for your help, - I have only seen the Marine blue flash on the white too, which is what worries me. My car was pretty much a shell, with only one door with paint on it, which was the marine blue with the white flash. The interior was tones of blue - but NZ bodies dont have ID tags like Australia, ours only have FB - 225 it doesn't give us the body colour or interior details. But I love this colour so Im hoping they were produced with the predominant blue and the white flash.
