Way back when........

Post by Dakam »

MRSDAKAM had cleaned up the desk, which was where i had my two pics of Sir Jack Brabham which he signed for me late last year. Started looking couldnt find them, asked Kym and she said she hadnt seen them. So, I automaticly thought, "BITCH", you've thrown them out... . So I started looking for them all over the place, which is where I stumbled across my old art folio from school, now over 20 years ago
Looking through it and found some car, bike and other stuff I had drawn when in art class, or just getting bored in maths.
Thought I'd post them up, havent seen these in years.

This is the way I always wanted an FB, then got my first which was the same color as the pic.

Got bored in maths, so drew some flames to pass the time......

An old Wurlitzer.....

I think this was Ben Gatts old XA drag car....

A couple of Harleys, one still not finished which I noticed alot while going through the folder.

A bulldog....

and a birdy flying......

and "YES", Kym did find the two photos I was looking for. So I suppose she's not a bitch after all.

WAY WAY WAY out of practice now. Was thinking of being a tattooist back then, but listened to everyone else cause I didnt know any better. Now I work in a factory for a living.
The funny thing is, its over 20 years ago when I did this, but still remember drawing every one.

I'm the opposite, Dave...I can't remember drawing most of what I've done in the past!
I'm always getting people I hav'nt seen for ages saying : "Do you remember drawing this for me 'X' amount of years ago?"...
...truth is the answer is usually uhhhh...mmmm...no!?

Goeat drawings, a real talent there. Imagine how good you'd be if you kept it up all these years.

i did a couple of drawings for Eddie &*#@'s mags 'Custom Rodder' & 'Custom Vans & Trucks'
Won a years subsription of each mag as he published both pics. I was 17 . I did a 2 -door EK and an EH van

Memories!
