Yipeeeee wiper arm bushes now available on ebay

Post by reddo »

Yo..
After suffering floppy wiper arms...
Trucks blowing the wipers around the sides of the w/screen and then the buggers staying there.
Wipers pulling up on the screen when they need a rest.....

Oh... you know the symptoms..

Finally found a mob on ebay offering wiper motor arm rebuild bushes.
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll ... 0705948188
Just bought a set... little bit XXXXXy but worth it to have a good set of wiper arms flapping around in front of me....
Especially on a road trip like to the Nats.... 8)

Now all i gotta do is get one of EK Jays 2 speed wiper motors and i will be as flash as Micheal Jackson in my FB Van.... 8) ...
Ummmmm ... perhaps i should have used another name

just hope the seller gets his skates on and posts em to me reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaalllllllllllllllllllll soon.

Regards

Marty,

If you get stuck, try Westworld Spares:

They indicate they would like to make bushes for most cars... they might be interested in making the wiper bushes.

Cheers,

Nice one Harv, good spotting. Do you know the bloke?
I've sent him an message to see if he'd be interested in putting together a refurb kit with bushes etc.

Have seen a few modified, adapted and customised assemblies. inc my own.
Does anyone have a fully functional assembly that works as it should? photo of what mine is supposed to look like would be appreciated.
My FB is fitted with electric wiper motor (EK ?) and some mismatched parts with nut and bolt assembly of linkages with lots of washers and nyloc nuts etc, mismatched wiper pivots, and i suspect 1 incorrect length rod. as wipers are not synced, dont park evenly and one has a longer sweep that tends to go past the curve of the windscreen at speed and wants to park off the glass. (could be the mismatched pivots?)

replacement complete linkage assembly on its way, (courtesy of SunnyTim :smile2: ) hoping to get some new bushes in it to make it run smooth, symetrical and evenly.

Nope, I don't know him. I ran across his eBay ad whilst putting together the Crashbox Guide.

I think my setup is off EK as its electric motor driven. I'd have no idea where those things would go Baguette.
