Thanks for the pics Jay, beautiful colour.
Having read the notice on the car, I think it said he purchased the car in late 1962 with 12,200 miles on the clock. Then put the second rego sticker on it in May of sixty three.
The drove it to Mackay in 1968. Plus used the car every day for work until the car went on vinatge plates.
don't you think those comments are a little rich i mean when ever i questioned any of yor cars (about owners/mileage/paint) i got hammered
it looks to be a really nice car who give a flying f#%k how many miles, owners or how many times it's been painted and why (i know you care about these things) do you hear people knocking yor "prototype" because (as i've been told by people that have seen it, i can't confirm this unless they wish to speak up or they are feeding me incorrect info to try and get me to start) it's been painted
this is not meant to start arguments just pointing out if i made comments like this i'de be in all sorts of sh!t
sometimes yor just better off shitting in yor hands and clapping

Lovely car. The chrome spats look quite good
Cal, I'm not sure how much it was looked after if the car needed respraying! One can't tell without before and after pics.
Steve
True, but one can be excused for needing to repaint a 50 year old car, (in this case 30 years old when it was painted) especially one that was a daily driver for a fair while. For a 19 year old respray it's pretty well looked after
Respray or no respray, it's a damn fine looking car

Frankly I'd rather buy a car that has been repainted and looked after that something that (maybe) original and neglected.
That is a real nice looking car .
