New Radio, Old Look

Post by fbtim »

A previous owner cut the dash in my ute to fit a new style radio.
That left me with the drama of what to do with the enormouse
hole .
Found a radio on ebay from the states that has a crome face, knobs very
similar to the choke/ wiper/ lights knobs in the FB. MP3 socket and USB
and all for $220 inc freight. Don't know if anyone else is in the same boat
but I' super stoked with the find. Pics don't do it justice but it does suit
the car more than a new kenwood.

Does it have the correct frequencies on AM ?
I started with nothing and still have most of it left.

G'day Blacky'
All stations I listen to in my f$%^ FG XR6 am and fm pick up on those stations or there about.
I listen to 693 am in the morning and find it on 690 on the new radio in a tin shed with me holding
the coax cable as I haven't found an antenna I want to use yet. I assume all is good and I could
not be happier .
