Hi
How do you get this out of the car undone all that holds it in but it doesn't want to come out & can they be overhauled seems to be a sealed unit

they can be a bugger to get out - I use a block of wood (if out in the bush stripping wrecks) or a brass drift if in the shed.
To rebuild them properly you need to pull the splined bit off and then you can remove the guts from the housing but be careful , they are pretty soft and easy to break. I have had a fair bit of luck soaking them in CRC for a few days.
I started with nothing and still have most of it left.

Its the rubber grommet that makes 'em such a bastard to get out.
Speed and Style........... One day I'll get the speed bit.
