Wiper motor - drag link bushes

Post by reddo »

Yo..

Sometime back i scratched around the shed and found what i thought where reasonably good wiper drag link bushes.... the ones that push in to the blades/ arms that connect to the wiper motor and link to the the wiper spindle shafts.
The ones i used wherent quite right and the end result is the left wiper arm is well on its way up the left side of the screen before the right side decides to get out of bed and head up the right side.
Same result when i turn 'em off. Right side flops about 50mm back to the 'At rest "position ... while the left returns nice and steady to the bottom of the screen.
Soooo... time to do a bit of a rebuild...
Where do i buy new nylon bushy things for the flat bars/ drag links/ arms .. or whatever you like to call em???

Regards
Reddo..... oh yeah... merry xmas everyone  8)

Gday Reddo

You'll get them out of a wreck i'd guess
I just went out into the shed to have a look for some,
but I dont have spare wiper linkages,
from memory are they just a rubber grommet???
