yeah the day i was there it was actually the son(i believe) that was there he wasn't to bad, i'd been told the old man is a shocker i do know people that have been through the place years ago. also what stuffed things up for everyone i've been told is some guy who's at alot of swap meets hounded them and stuffed them around and now they don't want to know people who are asking about what they have

It really pisses me off when people would rather let their gear rot into the ground rather than let someone either rebuild it or use the bits to keep another early on the road

there are a few over my way that I approach every six months or so in the hope that they will change their mind and sell instead of letting the car rust into the ground - it took me 5 years to talk the previous owner of my ute to sell.

yep NSW, it's worth having a look at and have a look for the holden dealership opposite the police station and look through the windows thats where the EJ,EHs and chev are it does nearly make you cry but it's kool to look at. why are you going to parkes, the swap meet? that's tomorrow the 8th

Yeah I fail to see why people do this sort of thing, they seem to think it'll be worth lots of money if they hold onto them long enough - but fail to understand that over time the cars deteriorate to a point where they are not worth a knob of goat shit - then the old man dies - son decides he no longer wants these rusty buckets & off to Sims we go - the rest is history
There's nowhere in heaven to drive them so no point thinking of taken them with you

there is this guy around my home town, who has the oldest cars.
some FB EK's but he has all the old chev hot rod style cars and fe,fc's ect.
He just buys them
and then lets them rust in the paddock.
he collect them but never intends to fix them up or anything..
He's not all there i think,
when he dies he wants to be buried with all his cars.....
lol
Such a waste, such a waste
he wont sell any or anything
anywho

I had this old guy tell me all about all thees old holden on a farm fx 2 hr s (got any parts ) year but i dug a big hole sprayed them with oil and covered them over . then he goes things don't rust under ground u know (KILL ! 10 tone of dirt wont hurt them ! ) I guess he thinks old holdens live 4 ever. Some old folks are dam right funny. FBs & EKs rule
