Hello all,
Re a '62 EK p/van-
Should the temp guage sender be mounted at the front or back of the block-there seems to be two possible locations....
I'm not running a heater at the moment but this will change once I come up with the coin...
Also could someone post a pic of what it should look like (including the connecting wire )-I've got a feeling the one I have is a later aftermarket thing with -plus the wire I have is bright orange-shouldn't it be black or blue or something ?
cheers
matt
Temp guage/indicator light sender
Re: Temp guage/indicator light sender
Doesn't really matter, but both mine are at the front. In the shop manual it's shown as being at the front. That way the heater tap can be closer to the cab and you won't need a really long hose for the heater.
My senders have only one male terminal poking up with a female terminal going from there directly to the warning light, shop manual says dark green is the correct colour if you're worried about it being concours.

Hi jimmy-I'm a pedantic S.O.B so I will try and get it right this time around. Thanks for the quick reply.
