Restoring FB Dash Trim

Hi All
What is the best method for polishing up FB dash trim without removing the printed pattern?

This pic shows there current condition, they are better than the pic shows.
The print is clearly visable on all the pieces, its just the camera/flash angle
that makes them look more oxidized than they are.

Cheers
Jeff

get em vapour blasted
that may be too rough, not sure though.
try toothpaste, or water and bicarb soda or something, then metal polish, then if that works give it a light wax just to keep it clean for longer

The trims in the green FB that I own were slightly oxidised and there was "goop" on them, I remember the look on Craig's face when I took to them with Prepsol, but they came up nice and left the stars.

I think most polishes will remove the stars...found that out when I was 18 and thought to myself at the time that they needed a cleanup

Jeff, I found automotive finishing polish and your bare finger, is as hard as you can go before removing the print. Brings them up good, but frustratingly still leaves the pitting. I ended up throwing in EK trim

In my other car (not a concorse original) I just polished the trims up till they were almost like mirrors to match the guage cluster.
