Hey all, Just saw on Pg 11 of SM Mag that the Wintersun Festival will move from Coolangatta to Port Maquarie for 2011, then move to a new venue every two years.

Plans are also underway for a replacement event in Coolangatta with new Management and funding from both the Tweed and Coolangatta councils.

To reiterate what Ratbox said, everybody we spoke to said they will be heading back to Cooly. I think PM will have a few issues such as secured parking, accomodation etc. My understanding is Wintersun can not be at the same place two years consecutively.? We will stop on on both on our way to Sawtell next year.

It is a given that the locals from QLD that wouldn't drive interstate to go to a show won't be going to PM, but they should attract some different cars from NSW, so it could be a good thing?
