Probably a silly question but can you get straight cut timing gears for a worked grey motor????

Don't know of anyone making straight cut gears but I emailed JP Pistons approx 9 months ago about whether they made aluminium gears (not straight cut) for grey motors to replace the original fibre gear.
The reply was they did make them and the cost then was $200.
I guess straight cut gears could be made if someone isn't already doing it.Maybe email J.P Pistons and see if they will/can do it.
Otherwise try a good engineering shop maybe and take along the old fibre cam amd crank timing gears to see if they could do it.
One off jobs would be costly $$$ however.
Let us know how you go,

Terry.
I can't think what to write here so this will do.
