wonder if it's some type of scam, you'de think there was some type of copyright on the car, especially using pics of the actuall car to advertise

Nice spotto Brodie, I was also suggesting that the pic was mirrored with the comment about the Lion on the steering wheel (it's arse about)...... but I didn't pick the pedals

Just a pity the GM bean counters wouldn't give it a go ahead on a world wide production basis.

From all reports I've read, it was a world wide winner with car enthusiasts willing to open their wallets!!

Guess we'll just be stuck with bland looking shopping trolley cars.
I can't think what to write here so this will do.

He was telling me that they were offered 1mill a car by some very rich people, but even then it would not be feasible to produce with the tooling costs etc

I think the GM bean counters were the tools on the non production decision.

No just GM in general lately. The Camaro nearly killed GMH... Commodore platform wasn't what the US wanted, so it was all redesigned.

My mate did well, he helped sort all the bugs out of effijy and got to do some laps of the prooving ground in it, then last year got a redundancy.
Speed and Style........... One day I'll get the speed bit.

Gaz, your right! It is mirrored, left hand drive vehicles have the same pedal arrangement as right hand drive.

Just had a chat with my mate Google and came up with this:

http://www.formulaautomotive.com/Home_Page.php

After checking out the site and watching the "process" here:

http://www.formulaautomotive.com/process.html

Unless I wanted a rendering of a rendered car in a rendered garage, I am not convinced I would be handing over 180k to these fine gentlemen, nor am i convinced that the Holden legal minds should be worried about them turning out multiple Efijy's anytime soon...
