Cheers on the feedback, hotwires are going back to the owner!!
Hey Dave (Dakam), I have been trying to get 14" so I could run trims and bullet caps but they are like hens teeth up here
HPaddict, what are the size of the weld rims and do you want to sell them??

You must have already guessed my choice of wheel, Gaz.. (
Tasmans)

.
SpaceAce used to own an FB WAAAY back with Hotwires...

..I can't put my finger on why..but they seem to be the wrong rim shape for a 'rounded' car..seem to suit a 'squarer' shaped auto..
You can always go 'Torrie Chromies'... they never look bad.

Shorten the diff and go the american racing wheels..
my opinion but I love those style wheels on old cars.

how does that add go

(picture some goofballs dressed in orange waving there hands around) NO GARY NO GARY NO GARY NO
13x7 chromies even 14", US racers

i had 13x8's on the rear of an FB with an LJ torana diff and slight pump of the guards front needed a little work to fit the 7's, i've also thought of doing a bit of a 70's FB/EK with US's and a slight but tastefull pump and flare of the guards, C&D's rather than tasmans (simular to thommo's 5 spoke wheels) dragways with a whitewall, fat black 13" steelies

Just say no to hotwires....
If you don't plan on running a centre cap buy new 14" steelies or go the extra and get Chromies. Think you can buy them new still. Otherwise keep hunting for tasmans, dragways etc..

Best things about chromies is that they give that old school Aussie hot street car look and they go well with a variety of body colours. Just the thing for a hot grey powered EK (look at Thommo's car for example).
Given it's a daily driver, have you thought about putting in a red motor and all synchro 3 speed? I know this means the car will be modified, but it might be more suitable to daily driving.
