are the ek ones vdo and fb ones ac?
FB = AC
EK = Miles
I think Craig is getting a bit picky there

thanks trev, i didn't know that.
craig, be as picky as you want, i don't care. the car isn't being made concourse or anything.
its going to have:
hr front end
ht holden 186 engine
lh torana gearbox
fb guard special badges and stars
one tonner gear shift
18 inch wheels
universal demister heater
metallic paint and the list goes on.
so my car is in no way model correct, nor do i want it like that... not this one anyway
my view is as long as i'm enjoying the car and the people i meet while enjoying this lifestyle, it's all good!

Not being picky just an observation

Well there you go I never knew that...
That means my EK is not an original speedo as it's an "AC"
Interesting...

would the miles speedo be so holden didn't have to change the speedo for the different cable between the auto and the manual? as that option wasn't available in the fb's?
just a thought, or are the speedo cables the same for the 3 speed manual and the auto?

just a quick update.
did some more sanding today, just about all the white flakey paint is gone now, the car really looks like a dalmation now
Question: whats the easiest way to get the special badge off the glovebox off without snapping it?
i hope to get some more substantial work done soon ( I'm soooo sick of sanding, and it's only just started).

2 years

was this for the incident where you were forced up a round about and told the guy what you thought

ratbox, yep that'd be it. 2 years no license, 2 year good behaviour bond and over $1000 in fines. it really does pay to keep your mouth shut sometimes.
oh well, at least it gives me more time to mod the car and restore the old bondwood van.
the only hard part will be when the bub comes along late march.
