parisian, yeah it sure is. he's only 15 months old and already has more mechanical knowledge than his dad

. but he's a great kid, and yes i am biased, but we'd rather him grow up outside doing something like playing around restoring cars instead of sitting infront of a computer or tv watching his health fade away. just got to finish my car then once we figure out if he's a holden, chrysler, or god forbid a F@#D boy we're going to buy him a real car to restore for his 18th.

I feel the same way about my son also, Matches.I'd rather him muck around with cars as a father/son thing when he gets a bit older rather than get into the some of the other things some kids get up to.
I've got a few old car projects kept aside for him when he gets old enough to want a car.At the moment he's eyeing off one of my HQ's that I want!!

fb mad, at least he's not eyeing off a falcon or something else in the street. best thing is he can get all dirty and greasy then hand him back to his parents

trev, yeah it's on the 186 thats still in the car at the moment. i'm just using the old engine to move the car around the yard while i'm working on it so i'm not ruining my hot engine.
i can't wait to get it in though. i want to hear how lumpy it is.
how do you figure out the 30/70 or 40/80 ect spec for a cam?

hi guys and girls, finally been able to get a bit more done on zippo.
i've now stripped the roof back to bare metal, stipped out most of the interior (just need to go buy one of those door handle remover tool thingy's), removed front and back windscreens and hood lining.
the roof looks like someone danced a jig on it

so alot of smoothing and straightening to be done there, but at least its not rust

i'll post some pics as soon as they get uploaded onto photobucket.
