Very nice. You leaving it special trim Patrick? I do love the iridescent inserts in the green and it looks good enough to perhaps repair and use as is, matching your body colour. Same way I want to go for my van. One day.....

This is an interesting way to mount the generator, I guess it’s what you do when you only have a short belt in the boot...

Or they had the motor assembled and then realised - oh shit - forgot to put the bracket on that water pump bolt - realised once on the bolt only comes out when you take the whole pump off - I realised the same when doing mine as I want a bit more adjustment for the Power master unit.

Master parts catalog says the belt should be 7408896
however the belt is only a 10A so its 4 inches shorter than the 13A that should be there
rare spares have part number FB1000 but there are no specs on it, suspect it is the longer one as they say it suits 'most 6 cyl alternators'

. . . and another piece of trivia - the generator's a Lucas C39. Standard fitment on EJs is the Lucas C40.
