some more photo's on what fits and what does'nt fit
the air con does'nt fit, there's only about 2" of room & that's the biggest downer, i was just about to buy the Vintage air set-up
Image
Image
I kept my Extractors from CRS from when i had there HR front end but they don't fit on the drivers side, the power rack is in the way, i'll get Pats one
Image
Image
Image
I kept the Gearbox Crossmember form CRS i had to elongate the bolt hole and cut some off for it to fit right, so thats right
Image
i'll have to go with the new 7" power booster as there's not that much room for one
Image
It does sit sit nice and i'm happy with it

Well spoke to Pat about the air con and he has a bracket for it. (using a VS air con) that was good news, And i spoke with George (Alien retro columns) and he's starting to do the EK auto columns,I just have to work out the length,as with Pats front end the column stops at the fire wall, and a knuckle goes straight down to the rack,so the wire must start just inside the cab.so i have to check this out before i order one ( such fun ) here it is on his facebook page

I've been paying close attention to your build and it has inspired me to do as much as I can to get my build moving forward. :D
Your're like a pathfinder, sorting and documenting the small and not so small, problems like the air con needing a bracket and that cool steering column

If my build is close to the quality of your origional EK mod it will make me happy :)

Hi nes138,I'm using VS caliper's for now,i'm still looking a what booster /master to use , most likely a 7" combo like the one on brodie's EK page 9 (not the datsun one) further down the page.

looking great, i just finished my v6 conversion took me way longer that planned 12 mth but i also reprayed car and added full vn loom ( for some stupid reason and the lx front end)

have you planned what u are goign to do with the speedo and ecu connectors i used the crs t connector and it giving me nothing but grief it strips the nylon treads on the gear box very easily and im not getting signals to speedo seem as if the drive doesnt connect to box to well .. am looking for alterate ideas either concet speedo direct to box and use a manual tcc lock up or connect tcc to box and change speedo for a gps type one
