Hi Jimmy, there is some rust. the worst was obviously the front floor pans, theres some rust at the corners of the rear window, and at the bottom right corner where the boot rubber seal goes.

Here is a pic of my car on the rotisserie, all metal fab work completed, including hidden seat belt mounts, replacement of dodgy repair to battery case area and the odd rust repair. Special thanks to Bill for lending me the rotisserie and doing most of the setting up.

Spent 2 days scrubbing and cleaning 49 years of dirt and crap, what a dirty and crappy job

Image

Underside all painted in KBS satin black, really good shit for rust proofing

Image

Image

Working on suspension, front end all cleaned and painted in KBS chassis full gloss rust paint

Next, working on differential and other underside parts.....

Hi Gaz, KBS is available by contacting them on 1800 80 90 36 , their website is: www.kbs-coatings.com.au
We used a normal spray gun to apply and it can be thinned using normal thinners.
Cheers.

Well it's been a while since last post, typical slack panel beaters concentrating on quick easy jobs.
Here are some pix of the front end and differential completed will be putting back in the car tomorrow.
