Perfect kframe cuts off 'old rusty' ready to use to ensure firewall repairs are right and then later to repair kframe. Started opening up the can of worms to determine the size of the mess. It's not too bad. Hopefully get something repaired soonImage.

Found more rust under front ledge of the ute tub behind the rear window. Can't see any problem from outside but the whole lot from one side to the other is gone underneath. Rotisserie job for later. ImageImage

Looks like Wedgewood blue. Not Grecian white?

Looks a bit dark to be Wedgewood blue - could be Banff Blue like my ute or maybe Lucerne Blue
I started with nothing and still have most of it left.

Thanks Clay, Blacky. Sam has found a link to that picture that comes up with Banff as well.

Wow - done by Christmas!! I spent most of my day welding small holes in the sub frame and procrastinating about if I should bother to cut out and replace the pitted metal around the battery tray. I know what I'd like to do, but I know what I'll end up doing.

Hi Scott. What are you going to do?
I'm lucky this time; unusually no rust around battery to deal with. Got a bit done today but paid the price tonight. Can hardly move😒
I like this type of work. Not much thinking, just doing.
