Finished all the painting today and started putting bits back on ImageImage
Got the zorst, diff and shocks in plus the pedal box and booster mounted. Had to cut some bits off an old diff out of EKMart as the diff bloke didn't refit the bump stop brackets or the mount for the brake hose Image
Had a go at finishing off the home made collapsible column , found out it doesn't quite go together as per the directions on the forum, got a 1/2" gap between the wheel and the indicator section, will need to machine some circlip grooves in the shaft - not sure I have the right tooling to do it at home will look tomorrow ImageImage

Exciting bit now the painting is done.
You’re running original style bump stops then, not EJ type which fit under the u bolt tops?

If you want to go really low I think you can use later Torana bump rubbers in the EJ setup, which are shorter.

LC/LJ bumpstops in EJ/EH cups use them as much as i can, cutting originals down works find of but not as good as the LC/LJ stops
sometimes yor just better off shitting in yor hands and clapping

Had to change the angle on the mount at the firewall end , welded a bolt on the pedal box that picks this bracket up ImageImage
