FB wannabe wrote:Hey spyder loving the van, good to see some progress pics of it as we havn't heard anything about it for a while. Personally I think you need to paint the sunvisor but I understand you are probably going for the "rat" look.
As for numberplates I worked at Bridgestone fitting tyres a couple of years ago, while working there we had a bloke come in with a 180sx with the numberplates VOTZE-1. After thinking about it I asked the owner what it was about, he told me that it was german for the c word. He then mentioned the first weekend he got them he took a trip up to Harndorf which is a very german / historic little town in the Adelaide hills

ahh harndorf..... shutzenfest(SP?) used to be great back in the day....
i really miss the adelaide hills

Your pictures prompted me to shave my handles RB style like on your van. So after many questions to the man himself, I can say it is all done

hi guys
havent been on in aaaaages so thought i would post some updates on the van,
finally got the 9" in (xmas time)..... hmmmm not much room between the top of the housing and the floor (will be getting looked at next week)
car is going in for some tlc (new sills and a bit of repairs to the inner right rear wheel arch (steel belts are not nice

) new exhaust (3"SS single system) and getting the electrics re-done.
had a couple of bubbles come up on the doors so i got stuck into sanding them out so it aint orange anymore

but it is a rather nice shade of matte black
took it to powercruise earlier this year and had a blast even got a great photo in NITRO MAG

and the video (tyre blew just as the video stops)

Wow Spyder reappears!!! And has been busy to boot! Good to see the van is still going strong.
Burnouts aren't very friendly on rear quarters at all. Especially with steel belts. Heres a tip use crossplies, damage is far less.

Nice one Spyder, every time I see pics of your van
It has white smoke billowing out of the back
Good to see it used as it was intended
