took it to the pits for rego inspection and have a few minor things to fix(sits too low..... who would of thunk it   ) and it doesnt need T.A.C. approval which is a bonus(NSW engineers cert. is valid up here :D ), although that means the 9" diff has to wait until after its rego'd as its not approved for that

its getting a set of light truck tyres put on it monday to lift it a bit (hopefully enough) and scored personal plates saying "FB" as they rejected my first one "FBEAST" as it could be seen as being rude...... bastards

Looks great, a bit more profile in the light truck tyres is there?
I am glad that there is another state government as anal as SA. I tried to register "Bitchin Stitchin" as a business name but they knocked it back.

FNGOOD was issued by Vicroads here many moons ago, a mate kept them off the car they came from. Only to find NOW they are offensive and no longer usable....

Taller tyres should help hieight wise, but turning may not be that good. Good luck. 8)

Hey spyder loving the van, good to see some progress pics of it as we havn't heard anything about it for a while. Personally I think you need to paint the sunvisor but I understand you are probably going for the "rat" look.

As for numberplates I worked at Bridgestone fitting tyres a couple of years ago, while working there we had a bloke come in with a 180sx with the numberplates VOTZE-1. After thinking about it I asked the owner what it was about, he told me that it was german for the c word. He then mentioned the first weekend he got them he took a trip up to Harndorf which is a very german / historic little town in the Adelaide hills
