I like to get my hands on one of those trucks and convert it to a car carrier. I know the Chevy's can cost a fair bit, like the 3100's etc., but surely it wouldn't take too much coin to pick up one of those 'farm' trucks

Yep..sounds like the handling of mine too, Trev...seems the V8 did'nt get any extra hard springs either!!

I had a 9t 66 dodge with a banana back. It was cool. Sold it about 3 years ago. $3000. They are cheap and cool found mine on a farm at tamworth. Was a cattle truck. They r out there.
