Post by matches »

hi everyone.
as most of you may know i've just put superlow (75mm)lovells springs in the front of my ek, it has a hr frontend and i'm wondering on opinions on which shocks to use? do i need to get shocks for a lowered car? if so, what brand do you guys (and girl) recommend?
cheers, luke.

I used a whole lowered spring and shocker setup from Pedders in the EK.

i think yor pretty right with HR type but from memory i think HQ shocks are a little shorter
ask where you got yor springs they should know

P.S. i've had cut springs to where the bump stop is cut down to where it's not much more than a thin slice of rubber about the size of 2x20c pieces laying on top of each other and there's about 1/2 inch of travel to bump stop with stock shocks

cool, thanks guys. i didn't think it'd make too much difference, it's not like i'm going to be racing the thing (its taking me too long to get it finished the first time  , let alone "rubbin" racing  ).
cheers, luke.
