Hi Guys what a great forum this is the first of many questions.
I,M going to use hQ stubs and disks on a HR cross member on my 62 Wagon what do I use on the rear to get same stud pattern It already has a HR rear
G'day i run the same setup and re drilled the HQ hub/disc to early stud pattern. To run HQ pattern you could redrill rear axles but IMO it puts the studs to close to the edge of the flange. There have been a couple of hr diffs with modded hq axels for sale on here, so that's probably the best option. Someone might be able to post up what hq axel mods are required to fit hr housing ?

I wouldn,t mind knowing whats involved in using a VL diff , do they run disks.
cut all the standard 4 link brackets off, make a new set of saddles and on once you get the pinion angle and measurments right weld it in, they come in disc & drums,im using a drum brake 1 in mine.
