Can you tint acrylic paint by adding another colour acrylic to it E.G. if I want a very light blue can I add a blue acrylic to a white acrylic until i get the colour I'm looking for?
Just keep in mind if you mix it yourself it's going to be harder to match it up again, better off getting the rite color in the first place (sorry to state the obvious ), Trev .

Biggest problem you will have is if you are not using base tinters but a blue thathas been made up with tinters as Trev said next time it will be extremely difficult as the blue may have a touch more of yellow and some magenta etc, so the next time you get some blue if its a pre mixed color it may be stronger or weaker in tinters than the one you originaly used. i do this for work every day if is a one off job no big deal but if i hve to repeat the job in the future i always order it to the formula used
if yor using a dark blue like i said use only a very little at a time, when paints are mixed you'de be amazed how much of basically a drop of a certain tinter goes in a 4 litre mix
