ahh yes , lauries ! i've been there a number of times as it's not far from home really .
i brought a lot of handy stuff for the hd ( when i had one ) off him and i always came away from there wanting a new project / car i remember looking at some late 40's dodge he had there at one time for sale for $ 4 thou... luckly my buddy's talked some sense into me :) and today i drive an ek ute !!
good fella though i thought .

from what i can see in the pics it's not that bad but definately doesn't match his description, but as usual there's always more than one description or side to a storey

look at the other famous/infamous ute 2 knowledgeable people when it comes to stock early holdens 2 different opinions on condition

I too know this chappy. I very nearly bought the black Chrysler Royal. It was just a bit too scary for a first time reno for me. I do love the Royals though! He was very nice, no probs at all, very happy to talk things through at length, pretty straight up about the work involved. Quite firm on prices though, that is true. Shame about the quick paint jobs too on a few on the old timers.
