In this context the WOOTO car club has members that are annoyed by the overuse of NASCO to describe EVERY CAR PRODUCT EVER MADE  .Hence the shape of symbol similar to NASCO  .Anyone feeling the same feel free to use in their signature post.

    But I thought NASCO mean't " Not A Standard Car Option...... NASCO" and that allowed the NASCO worshippers to regularly pray at the Evilbay alter after sacrificing their regular production run parts for auction to the Evilbay Fee Gods.

Then the former NASCO parts owners would be assured of a bountifull monetry harvest for using the NASCO name on ordinary parts ( after FeeBay took out it's share of the harvest ).

Have I been wrong all these years :? :? :?

I can't think what to write here so this will do.

Gosh this sounds like a cross between Gladiator and Ben Hur   But I agree with what your saying. However sometimes
NASCO newbies can get unfairly caught buying ordinary parts

What Pete(Space Ace) also forgot to tell you that many many years ago in the dark nettles of time, young Pete was a very good essay writer in High School & wrote very funny compositions for English. I might add here that the teacher used to get rather annoyed with his "silly" stories. To cut a long story short "Woofto" was a (not particularly reliable or well manufactured) parachute brand of a WW2 squad in on of his many side splitting stories. Guess the name stuck over the years.

I've been having hassles with Photobucket not accepting some of my photos? I only send 'em small (as being on dial-up it'd take days! ).
Did the top of the guard on Sunday and got rid of the bog filled rust holes under the paint and plated 'em properly :) .
Image
Just have to finish off the lower guard (not much rust there) & maybe fill the seam along the front of the guard from wheel arch to grill with weld (never liked that bit..looks unprofessional) then onto the other side..same but not as bad but adding a frenched ariel.

Just was able to get out to the shed and start on the bottom of the guard..yech! turned out to be a bit rotten..but not to worry :) ..just cut out the crook bit
Image
(keeping the double thickness at the bottom for the bolts to go in) and manufacture a piece then spot it in place  .
