I did notice that the posting from Muddy concerning his twins he said that he got the 44's new, I tried the local Repco (the only parts outlet in town) they said that they're not available anywhere. Anyone got any they might sell or know of a supplier,failing that I was going to resort to filling and redrilling a couple of spare 55's I got out of some old red motor carbs.
Has any one done this lately? I was thinking maybe solder to fill them or silver solder? The only thing with silver solder is I was concerned the extra heat may be an issue.
When it comes to drilling them out I have access to a small lathe so I can make sure the hole will be centred, anything else I should watch out for?
I would prefer the new jets but if not looks like its the do it yourself option, so after the rejetting,new gaskets and setting the linkages is that all I need to do before turning the key to fine tune them??
