NZ 186 X2 Fb Wagon

Post by HoldenFBX2 »

Hey guys new to this.
Here is a picture of my 1960 Fb wagon which i restored myself, running a genuine 186 x2 motor (from Hr x2prem) Hr front suspension, front disk brakes and LSD diff also from a HR.
Still has factory upholstery, now running 14" wheels due to 13" wheels not clearing the calipers.

Maybe up for sale soon.

thanks for all the feedback guys. appreciate it. as for the wheels it is running bigger brakes in the front (HT with girlock calipers) therefore 13" rims wont fit. The mags on it are about 40 years old.

cars history, first registered in NZ march 1960 and still has its original registration. sorry couldnt take a good photo of the tag, but it reads - FB229-2610-A and its an australian assembled car that was imported into NZ.

Here are some more pics.

Yes not much rust at all -( have more pics) just striped and painted due to old paint was flaking off and it had some over spray on the rubbers -just did not look right -that how I bought the car with 138 grey and drums
Now replaced with all new door rubbers ,weather strips ,bailey channels , and window rubbers .
