Hi, finally got around to posting pics of my car Ek229-7027M, Ive had it for almost ten years and have been tinkering on it slowly with lots still to do ,can anyone tell me if the wibroc mirrors are originally supposed to be on a ek thanks

Its pretty stock apart from the red 161and in need of some serious body work when i get to it :oops:

Also wondering if someone can tell me the correct colours for the interior the trimcodes i have are 685-977 ,the paint is a dusk plum585-0237and top is cameo beige 585-0235 thanks deryck.

Hey Deryck,

Sweet wagon mate.
Panel work can be fixed easily in Photoshop! LOL

Mate, 685 = Fall Red and 977 = Mawson & Athens Grey

The Wibroc mirrors are correct and widely used during the 1960's.

thanks smooth for the info I'll eventually make a start on the interior and its good stuff to know , if only I could use photoshop for the rest save some serious $$$ :) Trev it hasnt been used as a daily driver but i have plans to do so at least thru winter when the m/bike is inpractical ,still a bit to do though.

Deryck nice wagon! Glad my missus didn't see it when we down that way...

Nice wagon! As for the Wibroc mirrors I had an EK wagon about 20 years ago and it was fitted with these also, mounted in the same location. I was told at the time that they were a dealer fitted accessory, so not NASCO but a period item all the same.
