That's petrolhead's old one isn't it?

I remember seeing it at the hotrod show a few years ago.

Andrew

PS - Is he willing to cruise it with us?

First things first if i decide to buy it the glitter stripe and wheels has to go.. i think glitter should only be used on 1980s speed boats.. but the car is really nice to drive and love the pearl steering wheel and gear knob, must of cost shitloads to get that redone.

Yeah that sounds familiar RB
I remember he said he plucked a figure (rather large especially for that long ago) and the buyer just said yep and bought it. He was disappointed he didn't ask for more.

Looks like a nice ride

Maybe this?

Petrolheads FB is SOLD!
A guy(60 years old I might ad) saw it parked on the Rockingham foreshore and just had to have it. He was going to give me a deposit even before sitting in it. Then he was trying to give me money while sitting in it and I suggested that he take it for a test drive first. We were in top gear doing about 40km/h when I suggested that he push the right pedal down. He was extreemly impressed with the car and said that it is the best that he has seen in a long while, and he has been looking for ages. After the test drive he is trying to give me money for a deposit and I said "do you know how much it is?" His reply was that it was to be all cash $2000.00 here $5000.00 there and I was to hold the car untill all paid off. Since it was to be all cash I told him $16,000.00 and he didn't bat an eyelid, probably could of got $20,000.00 out of him but I'm not greedy.
So next weekend he is coming with the last payment and the car will be gone. Yes I'm a little sad but at least my 3rd owner from new FB Special Sedan can come out of storage and get a deserved freshen up.
Regards
Petrolhead
