Was thinking about putting a trimatic auto into my EH
it has an all Aussie 4 speed at the moment so will the auto fit ?
will i have to change the tail shaft ?
crossmember too ?
im only driving a EH till i get a FB-EK :)

Yep , piece a cake mate, just need the right auto (shifter on the right hand side) and its virtually a bolt in job. I have quite a few of the bits you will need - will talk tomorrow.
I started with nothing and still have most of it left.

Remember reading a fair bit on conversions on an EJ/EH forum a while back ??

Google EJ/EH forum or similar keywords and it might come up??

like blacky said all you need is the actual parts associated with the auto ie box, converter, flexplate, bolts, shift. crossmember, tailshaft identical

have everything but a shifter even have an auto radiator but might get a seperate oil cooler
Spewing cos i replaced the steering colum with an auto colum but i cut the gear lever of and gutted it , so will just settle for a T bar type
or could i fit a manual gear selecter with the auto colum setup ?

Don't forget to remove the spigot bearing either...
