Ok well I know everybody asks what 14in steelies are going to fit their car..
Ive done the searches and can not find a clear answer.
I dont particularly mind how wide they are, or how big of a dish. Obviously the wider the better...
I have HR Drum brakes on the rear and torana disc brakes on a standard kingpin front end.
So... off what model car do I get the steelies from?
Cheers

J , if you wanna run stock hubcaps you have to run 13" rims I am pretty sure. I am in the process of sorting out rims for my ute - I will let you know how I go. Are you still running a stock diff ? I am setting up a Torana diff ATM - purely so I can run a deeper dish rim on th eback.
I started with nothing and still have most of it left.

been looking on ebay n stuff for similar hubcaps etc, surely there'd be some kind of old holden out there with a similar set but for 14's.
Doesnt really matter too much.
I think I have an HR diff? I have no idea, the sheet which was advertised in the window of the EK said something about HR in the ass end, could just be drum brakes?

Hk rims will hit your tie rod end, they are too dished.
HT/HG rims are supposed to fit with no mods but I found with mine I had to get them re-dished to suit my HR disc front, so I did all 5 wheels while I was at it. Turned out to be quite an expensive process, 2 or 3 of them had to have new rims due to rust and old dodgy welds on the inside, couldn't guarantee they would hold air.

based on what you have in the front the torana discs with kingpin HK wheels might fit, i think you are going to have to get them and try yorself as i doubt anybody else on here has that front brake comboJ wrote:Ok well I know everybody asks what 14in steelies are going to fit their car..

as far as stud pattern in 14" H/KTG and volvo is it i think and they won't take hubcaps from 13" holden wheels

Will that be Torana diff from drum to drum modified to suit leaf rear end?
Seb
Yeah Seb , have got it sitting on the bench now - about to weld the saddles and bumpstop brackets on. Need a brake drum for it and should be good to go.

J, I run HT steelies on my sedan. Its got stock front drums and rear. Bolt up perfect with no scrubbing. My Wagoon runs HT steelies with HT Monaro discs on HT stubs and an EH rear drums with no scrubbing. Sedan tyres are 185/70/14, Wagoon tyres 175/60/14. Plus I run Tasmans on the Wagoon when needed with 175/60/14 tyres.
